Artesian is one of only six semi-finalists chosen outside of America

Artesian Solutions (“Artesian”), a leading provider of cloud-based Social CRM and brand surveillance software, has been selected as one of 20 semi-finalists in this year’s CRM Idol. The annual competition recognises high-performing vendors in the CRM Industry and provides them with a unique opportunity to gain exposure in front of some of the most influential people in the CRM and Social CRM world.

Out of 59 contestants initially selected to participate in the competition, Artesian overcame strong competition from 17 other CRM vendors outside of America, to be selected as a semi-finalist. Artesian was recognised for providing a well-thought out, useful and effective service that aims to provide B2B sales people in large organisations with personalised, filtered sales intelligence from a range of web and social media channels.

Andrew Yates, Artesian’s Chief Executive Officer and co-founder said: “We have invested a lot of time preparing for our participation in CRM Idol and are extremely pleased that this hard work is paying off. To be in this position is testament to the effort that the Artesian team does on a daily basis and shows that we are providing a valuable and innovative service to our customers. Being recognized as innovative, commercially viable and indeed possibly the ‘next big thing’ is a great accolade.”

To reach the semi-final, Artesian gave a 45-minute demo of its product to the primary CRM Idol judges for Europe: Laurence Buchanan, Mark Tamis and Silvana Buljan.

As a semi-finalist, Artesian will be required to participate in a further interview with the CRM Idol judges in order to qualify as one of 10 finalists in the final round of the competition. The finalists will be announced on 8th October and will include three companies from EMEA, Asia and Australia, and seven from the Americas.

Andrew Yates continues: “Getting through to the semi-finals is a great achievement, but we know the hard work doesn’t stop here. We will continue working closely with our allocated mentor, Frank Eliason, to ensure we are doing everything possible to gain a place in the CRM Idol 2012 final.”
