This tour focuses on some of the more detailed and technical aspects of Artesian
Surveillance; we start with a business problem to solve and work through a number of simple steps in the
product in order to provide a solution.
The aim of the tour is to illustrate a specific solution to a specific problem so that the view can gain
some insight into our technology and how it works. However, our products have been engineered to be powerful
by being flexible, all manner of related issues may be addressed using it plus a few we haven’t thought of I’m sure!
Hopefully through the use of this brief example we will have succeeded in providing the reader with enough
information to be able to extrapolate their own surveillance challenges, and to initiate a dialogue with us.
The internet is a fabulous source of

search engines are miracles of modern science,
ERP/CRM
applications are wonderful at tracking
your customer relationships and
BI
tools are great ways of aggregating and presenting performance
data. It is important to clarify right off the bat that Artesian replaces none of these things; our goal
is to provide useful
business applications
that leverage the immensity of the information source that
is the internet, but in ways that are sympathetic to a specific company or department and properly
integrated with its business processes; not something that's an “after thought” or “bolt on” to any
of these existing technologies. In fact we often use search technology such as MS Live Search,
BI platforms
such as Cognos and
CRM
applications like Salesforce.com in order to help us
to establish a starting point from which the Artesian products add value, structure and accessibility.
